The entire process of wire harness processing

With the arrival of the new era of intelligence, electronic products are playing an increasingly important role in our lives. As a key component connecting various components inside electronic devices, the quality and function of wiring harnesses are crucial to the performance of the entire electronic device. The main task of the wire harness processing factory is to customize and process the wire harness according to customer needs, ensuring that it meets specifications, has reliable quality, and allows everyone to use it with peace of mind.

The first step in wire harness processing is wire harness design and preparation work. Based on the customer's needs, layout and functional requirements of electronic equipment, the engineering team will develop a detailed wiring harness design plan. This includes determining the length, structure, plug type, wire specification, and connection method of the wiring harness. In the design process, it is necessary to consider various factors such as the maintainability, waterproof performance, and anti-interference of the wiring harness. After the design is completed, the engineer will use CAD software for drawing and generate corresponding process files.

The processing steps for wire harnesses are as follows:

1. Material preparation
The materials required for wire harness processing include wires, insulating sleeves, connectors, etc. Workers will select materials of corresponding specifications and models based on design requirements.

2. Wire stripping
Wire stripping refers to removing a section of the external insulation layer of a wire to facilitate connection with a terminal joint or socket. This step requires the use of wire stripping pliers and cutting knives to ensure that the wires are stripped clean and tidy.

3. Wire riveting
Combine wires of different colors according to design requirements and connect them using riveting tools. During the riveting process, workers need to pair the wires correctly according to the markings on the design drawings.

4. Insulation kit
The insulation kit is designed to increase the safety and stability of the wiring harness. The workers cut the insulation sleeve according to the required length and fix it on the wire with heat shrink sleeve or glue to protect the wire from the external environment.

5. Plug assembly
According to design requirements and customer needs, assemble terminal connectors or sockets to the end of the wiring harness, measure and debug to ensure correct and reliable connection between the wiring harness and the equipment.

6. Finished product testing
After the wire bundle processing is completed, finished product testing will be conducted. The testing mainly includes conduction testing, insulation testing, and anti-interference testing. Through these tests, it can be ensured that the quality and performance of the wiring harness meet the standards.

Strict quality control is required in every step of wire bundle processing. The equipment inspector will inspect the products at each step to ensure that all parameters meet the design requirements and record relevant data. If non-conforming products are found, they need to be promptly addressed and traced to ensure production quality.

After the wire harness processing is completed and the customer passes the inspection, the warehouse administrator will package it and arrange for the logistics company to transport it. During transportation, attention should also be paid to measures such as shockproof and waterproof to ensure the integrity of the wiring harness
